Water Pumps
Flooded trenches, cellars and pooled groundwater need a submersible or puddle pump to move water fast. We stock petrol and electric 110 V units for any drainage job on site.
Puddle pumps weigh from 6 kg (110 V electric) up to 21 kg (petrol models). All hire for half day, day, 2 days, weekend (Fri–Mon, pay 1½ days) or week.
Collect free from either depot or we deliver same-day if you ring before 5:30 pm. For site power, ask about a 3 kVA transformer. Also see Compactors and Pressure Washers.

Questions
- Can we get a pump out today?
- Ring 047 20500 (Monaghan) or 042 6000 377 (Carrickmacross) before 5:30 pm weekdays or 1 pm Saturday. Same-day collection is available from either depot.
- Do you deliver pumps?
- Yes. Delivery is across Monaghan, Cavan, Louth and Meath; delivered hires have a 1-day minimum. A cash deposit may apply. Deliveries run Monday to Friday only (no Saturday delivery); collection is available any time we're open, including Saturday 8:30am–1pm.
- Do I need a transformer for the electric pump?
- The 110 V submersible and puddle pumps need site voltage or a 3 kVA transformer, which we hire separately. The petrol pump runs anywhere.
