Articulated Booms

Articulated boom lifts are cherry pickers for rough terrain, building sites and outdoor work. Our fleet ranges from 12 m working height (Nifty and Manitou) to 28 m (Skyjack 85AJ), and from 1 500 mm wide (Nifty models) to 2 490 mm (Skyjack and JLG). We carry both diesel and electric models.

Hire by the half day, day, 2 days, weekend or week. Delivered hires are 1-day minimum; collect from either depot and use a plant trailer free for same-day return. Scissor Lifts and Tracked Hoists are other access options for different conditions.

Do you deliver articulated booms?
Yes. Delivered hires are 1-day minimum across Monaghan, Cavan, Louth and Meath. Or collect from our Monaghan or Carrickmacross depot and use a plant trailer free for same-day return.
What hire terms do you offer for boom lifts?
Half day, day, 2 days, weekend (Fri–Mon, pay 1½ days) or week (7 days work out to the hire of 3 days). Choose what suits your job.
What's the difference between diesel and electric articulated booms?
Diesel booms (JLG, Skyjack, Manitou) are powerful for rough terrain and high reach. Electric booms (Genie, Nifty, Snorkel) are quieter and produce zero fumes, better for indoor work and noise-sensitive sites.
