Log Splitters
Log splitters are petrol machines on a road-tow chassis for splitting seasoned and green rounds. They save labour and time on firewood preparation, forestry work and site clearance.
We carry a 16 t petrol log splitter for half-day or day hire. It splits logs quickly and moves on a plant trailer. Collect from either depot or have it delivered across Monaghan, Cavan, Louth and Meath.
Hire periods are half day, day, 2 days, weekend (Fri–Mon, pay 1½ days) or week (7 days for the price of 3). Related classes: Mowers and Wood Chippers.

- How do I collect and tow a log splitter?
- Collect from either depot. A plant trailer is available free for same-day return, or we can deliver it on our trailer and collect it later. Delivered hires have a 1-day minimum.
- What's the minimum hire?
- Half day. The 16 t splitter is available half-day, day, 2 days, weekend or week. Ring 047 20500 or 042 6000 377 for availability.
- Is fuel included?
- Fuel is not included. The machine returns full; you pay for what you use. Check the tank level before you start and run it dry at the end to avoid spill on our trailer.
